May 17 - Day at Sea

Monday was a day at sea aboard the Oceania Regatta.  The weather was fantastic again and everyone enjoyed the downtime to relax and spend some time with their friends.  During the day, we arranged a couple of special events that turned out to be great fun for everyone.

Rowland, Ron and Jim kicked things off with a Southern Ohio/Northern Kentucky Board Meeting.  Many important decisions were made, as you can imagine.

The State Auto Olympics was a competition between the five State Auto regions that brought out the competitive spirit in all of our Super Achievers!

This is a new look for Mary Ruth!

In the end, the Furlong/Carson team and the Durso team tied for the title of Olympic Champions!

We also held a celebrity chef cookoff, with the Galbreath/Siegworth team competing against the Gibbs/Blackmon team.  In the end, their chef skills were so great that the judges declared a tie!

Ted went the extra mile by using the dance floor as a cooking surface!

All in all, it was a fantastic day at sea for everyone!  Tomorrow, we arrive in Mallorca at 8:00 a.m.  More good times and pictures to come!

  1. Robyn,

Thank you so much for creating the blog! Kenan and I had a wonderful time on the trip and carry with us so many treasured memories from our time together. Spain is an incredible country, and we feel privileged to have had the opportunity to explore the culture, the cities, and the vast beauty it has to offer. Your blog is a valuable souvenir with which to remember the trip and our many State Auto friends.

Thanks so much for your time and your talents providing what was truly an exceptional experience!
