After a 2 hour scenic drive from Shannon to Killarney, we arrived at the Killarney Plaza Hotel, a beautiful venue that sits right in the middle of town. Super Achievers are going to love the location...very close to shops and restaurants and pubs.
After taking a quick shower and having a light lunch, we take a tour of the hotel, including all of the different room types and meeting and function space.
Then, we're off to check out Muckross Farm, where we'll be hosting Super Achievers on their first night in Killarney.

Before we left the farm, we had a quick snack of scones, with yummy homemade Irish butter, and coffee to keep us awake for the rest of the afternoon!
After Muckross Farm, we headed back to Killarney town to get aquainted with our surroundings and to take a look at the restaurants we'll be using for dine-arounds.
After our tour of town, we head back to the hotel to meet again with the Mary, Director of Sales, over dinner. We aren't a very lively group at this point. Sleepiness has set in...
So now, it's just after 10 PM and it's time for me to say goodnight. Frankly, I'm pretty happy that I made it this late. There will be more to see tomorrow. Stay tuned!
